Our hydrocolloid dressings are sterile, hydro active, self-adhesive wound dressings for moist wound treatment. They help to maintain a moist wound environment.
Hydrocolloid dressings are permeable to gas but impermeable to water and bacteria. They do not adhere to the wound, thereby reducing any pain associated with dressing removal preventing trauma to newly formed tissue. The TRIGO hydrocolloid dressings are very flexible and suitable for the protection of sites exposed to rubbing and sheer stress.

TRIGO PHMB is a sterile, antimicrobial wound dressing with polyhexanide (PHMB). The polyhexanide solution decontaminates and serves as a prophylaxis against infection with micro-organisms. It also provides prophylaxis against bacterial and fungal pathogens in both acute and chronic wounds. The effective combination of TRIGO PHMB‘s ingredients dissolves the biofilm, cleans the wound and creates the ideal wound climate for the formation of new granulation tissue. TRIGO PHMB has to be fixed with a proper secondary dressing.

TRIGOpad aqua is a slightly cooling, transparent hydrogel dressing which maintains a moist wound environment conducive to healing.
TRIGOpad aqua can donate moisture to the wound and absorb secretion at the same time.
Due to the gel consistency the wound dressing does not stick to the wound and provides atraumatic dressing changes to the patient. TRIGOpad aqua needs a secondary dressing while TRIGOpad aqua comfort is self-adhesive.

TRIGOfoam dressings are sterile, semi-permeable wound dressings with high absorption capacity. TRIGOfoam maintains a moist wound environment to enhance the natural healing process. It is mainly used during the granulation phase and for secretion absorption.
TRIGOfoam is permeable to gas but not to liquids and bacteria. The absorbent layer transfers exudate away from the wound and captures it without leaks or meltdown.The foam layer supports a high evaporation rate and cushions the wound. The dressing does not adhere to the wound, thereby reducing any pain associated with dressing removal preventing trauma to newly formed tissue.

TRIGOfilm is a sterile, self-adhesive wound dressing made of a polyurethane film. The dressing is transparent and thus enables the observation of the wound without dressing change.
TRIGO film dressings are used as secondary dressings within the moist wound healing programme.

TRIGOcolloid foam is a breathable hydro active dressing which combines the positive characteristics of a hydrocolloid dressing with the advantages of a polyurethane foam dressing.
The hydrocolloid matrix changes to a soft gel by contact with water which maintains a moist wound environment and thereby supports
a faster healing. The hydrocolloid layer is perforated and enables
the overlaying polyurethane foam a fast absorption of the wound exudates. So the exudates are piped away from the wound without itself running dry. Thereby the risk of maceration is minimised. On top is a polyurethane film which is breathable but impermeable to water and bacteria.
TRIGOcolloid foam is user-friendly and eases the exudates management with patient`s comfort at the same time.

TRIGOtüll komb is a sterile, breathable wound dressing made of an absorbent polyester mesh coated with a lipocolloid layer. The lipocolloid contained in the dressing ensures optimal moisturisation of the wound and promotes wound healing. TRIGOtüll komb is permeable to gases, but not to liquids and bacteria. The dressing needs a secondary dressing for fixation while the version TRIGOtüll komb adhesive is self-adhesive.
